Abby takes him from Vi's room and puts him on the balcony, Vi finds him there and takes him out of the cage - leading Abby to believe that he is gone. Sonny confides in Alice about his learning difficulties - he also gets closer to Harley. Everyone fusses around Ernie as he goes into hospital for his hernia operation.
