David Samuel GoyerĀ (born December 22, 1965) is an American filmmaker, novelist, and comic book writer. He is best known for writing theĀ screenplaysĀ and stories for severalĀ superhero films, includingĀ Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. (1998), theĀ BladeĀ trilogy (1998–2004),Ā Christopher Nolan'sĀ Dark KnightĀ trilogyĀ (2005–2012),Ā Man of SteelĀ (2013), andĀ Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeĀ (2016).
